Circling Back To: Steve Waldman

Steve Waldman was senior advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 2011, when he was a featured speaker in Quantum's Media Guru series. While at the FCC, he led an agency-wide effort to assess the state of media across all platforms, resulting in a comprehensive report, "The Information Needs of Communities: The changing landscape in a broadband age."
Today Waldman is the co-founder and president of Report for America, a national service program that places emerging journalists in newsrooms. He previously served as National Editor of U.S. News & World Report and as editor-in-chief, president, and co-founder of Beliefnet, a multi-faith spirituality website.
