AI used to offer new perspectives on news stories 

An AI-driven news feed is offering a chatbot used to seek additional angles on a news story from sources across the globe. It can be found in the Signals feed from Semafor.

• This is a new approach to generative AI companies for news publishers.
• Enhanced from a “substantial” Microsoft sponsorship, the Chatbot was built not by the tech giant but by Semafor's own newsroom. Microsoft will help the start-up refine the tool.
• This makes Semafor one of the first newsrooms to visibly incorporate ChatGPT into its workflow.
