Gretchen Grant is a strategic growth consultant and C-suite fractional executive who helps companies at the intersection of technology, content, and data achieve longevity. She’s great at building strategies that last and turning big ideas into reality.

Gretchen helps companies achieve longevity by getting their monetization strategy and execution right. She brings leadership, strategy, and business development expertise to the table — refining revenue models, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring execution delivers results.

She steers businesses through inflection points stemming from new management, ownership, or technology shifts. For generative AI company Intentful, Gretchen led enterprise business development as Executive Advisor, increasing their pipeline 5X and identifying AI use cases for global consumer brands.  As CEO and fractional COO of financial data platform DailyFX, Gretchen transformed the business into a growth engine.  She diversified marketing, product and editorial strategies, and put in place an organization structure that streamlined processes and raised team engagement, fueling +120% growth.

Gretchen brings a commercial mindset to creative celebrities, developers, and journalists.  When DIY icon Bob Vila left TV, she reinvented BobVila.com as its CEO. She diversified revenues; revamped audience development and editorial strategies; and forged a tight-knit team. These measures set the stage for profitability and a sale to Recurrent Ventures.

As General Manager at Meredith Corp., Gretchen broke open new markets for august brands like Parents Magazine, launching the online portal for parents and videos for fitness fans.

Large enterprises and entrepreneurial companies work with Gretchen to leverage her out-of-the-box thinking. She helps large enterprises find entrepreneurial resources in their quest to produce big results on small budgets and she aids entrepreneurial companies in penetrating large enterprises in their quest to scale revenue.

Gretchen’s perspective is data-driven and global. She headed Financial Planning & Analysis for Viacom, including MTV, Showtime, cable, TV, and radio divisions. At DailyFX, Gretchen led teams in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Gretchen served on the board of FX Publications and completed Harvard Business School’s Preparing to Be A Corporate Director program.  Currently, she is on the Advisory Board of OSSA Collective, a podcast network and former client.

Spreading opportunity for others is Gretchen’s passion. She is an active member of Community Partners, the Harvard Business School Club, and Helen Keller Int’l. Originally from Seattle, Gretchen earned her BA at Yale and MBA at Harvard and now calls NYC home.
