December 17, 2008: In writing about the Time Warner Cable spin-off, journalist Nat Worden cited advice from Quantum consultant Ava Seave. From the article published December, 2008:
"Media companies spend more on acquisitions than any other category of companies, and they're usually not successful," said Ava Seave, a principal with boutique consultant firm Quantum Media and an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School. "Time Warner should be cautious about diluting shareholders even more than they already have. You deal with the cards you're dealt, and they should concentrate now on operating the assets they have as efficiently as possible."
