QUANTUM MEDIA'S CHRISTINE ARRINGTON LED 13 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ON ILLUMINATING BUSINESS VISITS IN LONDON

Earlier this year, Quantum Media Principal Christine Arrington led 13 Utah State University (her alma mater) students majoring in business to meetings in London. Sanjay Patel, who heads up Apollo’s entire European business, shared that Apollo recently concluded there is not sufficient “rule of law” in China, Russia, or Ukraine to justify making new investments there!  Just when the rush to invest in China was barely cooling down!

The other eight visits also were filled with insights, from senior executives at Kantar Media, Barclay’s Bank, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Now-Casting Economics, Government Digital Services, United Business Media, and Nike Town. For the full story, go here

BETH COMSTOCK, GE'S CMO IS DECEMBER 10TH MEDIA GURU

Beth Comstock, Senior Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer at GE is passionate about change and innovation.  She leads GE’s growth efforts via marketing, sales, licensing and communications and oversees GE Ventures.   

In 2003, Comstock was named GE’s first Chief Marketing officer in more than 20 years. Previously, she held a succession of roles at GE, NBC (where she was President of Integrated Media in her last role), CBS and Turner Broadcasting. 

Comstock is a member Nike’s Board of Directors and Trustee president of the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. She serves on the board of Quirky, an online hub that makes invention accessible and is a start-up partner with GE on smart consumer products.
